About The Position

This role is located at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkin, NC, within a Long Term Care (LTC), skilled nursing, and rehabilitation setting. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday. The salary range is $60k - $70k. Requirements

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to residents, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing resident care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve resident satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
