The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy in compliance with current Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), Standards of Practice (SOP), and Standards of Professional Performance (SOPP). This is a casual position, meaning employees work on an ‘as needed’ basis to meet business needs. Work days/hours will often vary from week to week. The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, identifying nutrition diagnoses, devising nutrition strategies, implementing and communicating care plans, monitoring progress, integrating professional standards, utilizing research for evidence-based practice, providing nutrition education, pursuing professional development, and sharing nutrition information with others.
