About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is searching for a growth-minded Full-Time Clinical Dietitian II at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, PA. Jefferson Abington Hospital is located in Abington, PA with 660 licensed beds. It is a Level II Trauma Center, has a Level III NICU for advanced care of infants and has been providing life-changing care for over a century. They treat a variety of conditions including cancer care, complex surgeries, neurosciences, obstetrics, cardiology, trauma care, orthopedics, and much more. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
• Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• 2 years or more clinical practice experience
• Licensed Dietitian status in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
