About The Position

As a full-time Clinical Development Specialist with DeepSight Technology Inc., you'll work directly with clinician users to help improve their daily workflows and ensure they're getting the most out of our advanced diagnostic and imaging tech. You'll need excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as an understanding of anatomy, pathology, and physiology. This role plays an integral part in improving diagnostic abilities, driving clinical advancements, and optimizing imaging workflow and performance for end-users! You'll think analytically to identify areas for improvement and implement methods to meet goals and advance strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Completion of a 3-year program in diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound technology OR Completion of a 2- to 3-year program in a related allied health field AND a 1 year post-diploma program in diagnostic medical sonography from an accredited institution
  • ARDMS (or equivalent) certification in abdomen OR two additional active general imaging or vascular credentials
  • 5+ years of related experience operating ultrasound equipment in a clinical or medical setting
  • 2+ years of direct experience in R&D ultrasound image optimization and system development for general imaging applications (abdominal, small parts, vascular, pediatrics, etc.)
  • Clinical ultrasound teaching experience
  • Commercial ultrasound system installation experience
  • Proficient English communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with clinician application leaders in alignment with company targets and objectives
  • Traveling (as needed) to observe on-site workflows and gain insight into clinician outcome requirements
  • Evaluating workflow and visualization goals for targeted applications
  • Performing clinical research to help understand design requirements
  • Helping define clinical requirements related to the realization process
  • Collaborating with product/realization teams and performing validation tests to ensure products are safe, effective, and appropriate for user needs
  • Creating and maintaining related documents, plans, research reports, studies, and more
  • Educating users on technology, trends, workflows, and best practices
  • Gathering, analyzing, and presenting data from studies and evaluations
  • Supporting product education initiatives to ensure seamless adoption and utilization
