About The Position

We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and science-driven Clinical Development Physician (Director) to join our Global Clinical Development team in our Raleigh, NC location. As a Clinical Development Physician, you will be accountable for the medical integrity and strategic direction of clinical development programs. Acting as the medical expert for assigned assets, you will ensure the program reflects current scientific knowledge, clinical best practices, and evolving healthcare landscapes. You will play a critical leadership role in shaping development strategies, driving execution, and delivering high-quality clinical outcomes that support global patient access. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, and biometrics, as well as engage with external stakeholders such as investigators, regulatory authorities, and key opinion leaders. You may also lead clinical development teams or programs, contributing to both strategic leadership and operational execution.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (M.D.) with active licensure or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical or academic setting (e.g., academic physician or investigator involved in clinical trials) or in medical affairs within the biopharmaceutical industry OR Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical development in the biopharmaceutical industry.
