GSK is seeking an experienced Medical Director Clinical Development- Cardiovascular to join its Respiratory, Immunology & Inflammation Research Unit. This role will provide clinical and scientific leadership to clinical and translational studies or programs for asset-level projects. The position will also contribute to the assessment of potential mechanisms and targets, target validation programs, life-cycle expansion, and innovative clinical development opportunities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to develop and execute clinical development plans (CDPs) and contribute to above-project development of foundational and real-world data, and translational and biomarker capabilities. The department prioritizes understanding mechanism and unmet need alongside innovative clinical development to deliver differentiated medicines. The Respiratory, Immunology, and Inflammation Research Unit (RIIRU) aims to leverage immune science to address underlying organ dysfunction and disease, developing a pipeline of medicines. The team is composed of industry-leading experts driving the end-to-end R&D journey, from early discovery to late-stage advancement, utilizing field-leading data sets, capabilities, and methods.
