A confidential, relationship-centered private dental practice in Burlington, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join and help guide our clinical team. Requirements
- Dental assisting experience, ideally with prior lead or mentoring responsibility
- Organized, dependable, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Takes pride in clinical excellence and patient comfort
- Communicates well with doctors, assistants, hygienists, and administrative team members
- Enjoys helping others learn and succeed
- Understands the importance of confidentiality, compliance, and patient trust
- Brings a positive, solutions-oriented mindset to the practice each day
- Believes private practice dentistry is at its best when the team is strong, aligned, and patient-focused
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Help lead daily clinical flow, room readiness, and patient handoffs
- Support, train, and mentor dental assistants
- Champion OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, infection control, and clinical safety standards
- Help ensure operatories, instruments, supplies, and lab cases are prepared and organized
- Partner with the doctor and team to create smooth, efficient, patient-centered care
- Communicate clearly with patients so they feel informed, comfortable, and respected
- Help identify opportunities to improve systems, teamwork, and the patient experience
- Model professionalism, humility, accountability, and kindness in daily interactions
