About The Position

Provide individual and group counseling for university students experiencing personal/emotional and career problems. The staff member will perform administrative duties, provide emergency/crisis intervention, provide consultation to members of the university community, provide educational outreach programs, and periodically have the opportunity to supervise practicum and intern graduate students. Note: This position is an annual 10 month full-time appointment: August 1 thru May 31.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date).
• Experience in outpatient clinical counseling either through an education degree program or professional work.
• Oklahoma license eligible as a Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor by the end of the second year of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D./Ed.D. in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• One year of related experience in a university counseling center.
• Oklahoma license as a psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist. License must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment.
