About The Position

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical Coordinator for our Interventional Radiology Department. Under the direction of the Assistant Director and/or Director of Radiology, is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of IR activities. Additionally, the IR Nursing Supervisor has direction and oversight from the Assistant Director of Nursing. The IR Clinical Coordinator ensures the quality of services rendered is acceptable and will establish accountability and compliance in the nursing role and ensure consistency in stated policies, procedures, and protocols. This individual will serve as a resource person, perform nursing related duties, and function as a liaison with the nursing service department. Optimizes patient care in the Radiology Department through specific performance standards and related outcomes, incorporating principles and theories of nursing and related fields while applying discriminating judgment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Junior College/Technical School is required
• Registered Nurse is required
• ACLS Certification is required
• PALS Certification is required
• CPR is required
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of Critical Care Experience
• Working knowledge of all examinations, exam preps, and other information pertinent to placing orders and verifying appropriateness.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Radiology Nurse Experience would be considered.
