About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator to join their Pain Management Department at the Avita Galion Hospital. The role involves coordinating clinical staff, managing patient flow, and overseeing clinical operations under physician direction. The coordinator will also assess, plan, and implement nursing care, participate in patient and family education, and act as a patient advocate, upholding the facility's mission. Avita Health System serves communities in Crawford and Richland counties and has experienced significant growth, employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio.
Basic Life Support Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (if a RN).
Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a critical care setting.
Previous educational experience.

Responsibilities

Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
Assesses, plans, and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic, with the supervision of the manager.
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Maintains role as patient advocate, protecting patients’ rights, with a focus on the facility’s mission.
