Clinical Coordinator, Health Sciences
About The Position
The Clinical Coordinator, Health Sciences provides overall supervision and management of the Center for Patient Simulation Training, coordinates clinicals for all programs in the health-related departments and assists with the allied health and nursing laboratories; assists in developing, promoting, and offering quality classroom instruction, including curriculum review and development, student recruitment, and academic advising; manages and ensures clinical compliance is met for faculty and students; assists in course scheduling, ordering books, and requisitioning supplies, equipment, and materials; and evaluates program goals for instruction of faculty and students and ensures that teaching/learning goals are being achieved.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a master's degree in nursing.
- Current unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Two years clinical experience in nursing.
- Teaching experience in practical and/or associate degree nursing program.
- Managerial experience in nursing.
- Successful results of a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must meet the requirements of §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.
- Must not fail to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application.
