About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator, Health Sciences provides overall supervision and management of the Center for Patient Simulation Training, coordinates clinicals for all programs in the health-related departments and assists with the allied health and nursing laboratories; assists in developing, promoting, and offering quality classroom instruction, including curriculum review and development, student recruitment, and academic advising; manages and ensures clinical compliance is met for faculty and students; assists in course scheduling, ordering books, and requisitioning supplies, equipment, and materials; and evaluates program goals for instruction of faculty and students and ensures that teaching/learning goals are being achieved.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited institution with a master's degree in nursing.
  • Current unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license.
  • Two years clinical experience in nursing.
  • Teaching experience in practical and/or associate degree nursing program.
  • Managerial experience in nursing.
  • Successful results of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Must meet the requirements of §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.
  • Must not fail to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application.
