We are seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to support patient coordination, clinical workflows, and healthcare operations initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to patient care processes, clinical research screening, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced specialty practice.

Requirements

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Pre-Med / Pre-Health
  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Nursing
  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Public Health
  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration
  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Health Informatics / Data Science
  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Support patient scheduling and coordination of treatment-related appointments
  • Track labs, imaging, and key treatment milestones to ensure timely care progression
  • Assist in maintaining organized and accurate patient coordination workflows
  • Support initiatives to improve patient access, scheduling efficiency, and care coordination
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to promote a seamless patient experience
  • Review patient charts to identify potential eligibility for clinical research initiatives based on defined criteria
  • Extract and organize clinical data, including diagnosis, labs, imaging, and treatment history
  • Flag potential candidates for further review by clinical or research leadership
  • Partner with clinical and research teams to align patient care workflows with research efforts
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and research compliance standards
  • Track patient pathways, timelines, and care coordination metrics
  • Assist with data collection and reporting to support operational decision-making
  • Support monitoring of treatment progression and patient outcomes
  • Identify potential gaps or delays in care coordination processes
  • Assist with administrative and operational healthcare projects
  • Contribute to patient experience and quality improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams
  • Participate in team discussions related to patient flow and coordination
  • Support cross-functional communication to ensure alignment in care delivery
  • Gain exposure to how data and AI tools support clinical decision-making
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining data used for care optimization initiatives
  • Learn how technology enhances patient navigation and treatment
