About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Clinical Consultant for their Planning and Analytics for Total Health (PATH) program. The PATH program utilizes real-time data insights and clinical expertise to improve healthcare decision-making for employers. It transforms employer data into actionable strategies to enhance plan performance, manage costs, and promote employee well-being. Key benefits include identifying cost drivers, highlighting cost management opportunities, providing consistent reporting, and monitoring vendor performance. Requirements

  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience delivering clinical consultant services to clients, preferably in a health care consulting or brokerage environment, health insurance carrier or a provider system.
  • RN, BSN with documented clinical experience.
  • Ability to present recommended strategies with an ability to influence across various levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of the dynamics of group health benefits design.
  • Demonstrated applied work experience combining healthcare and business knowledge to population health management, occupational health & safety management and/or healthcare quality and operations management.
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, MPH or MHA is highly desirable.
  • Employee benefits consulting experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Consulting to develop and execute strategies to help mid-market clients control healthcare costs, improve health outcomes, and promote employee engagement through analytic-based state-of-the-art innovations.
  • Consulting with self-funded employers.
  • Supporting the development and growth of clinical consulting capabilities.
  • Performing project-defined healthcare data analysis, strategic analysis, and clinical consulting from a clinical and population health perspective.
  • Participating in initiatives related to the PATH team.
