We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN, LPN, or CMA to join our pediatric team. This position will play a vital role in supporting providers, listening to families, and delivering exceptional care to our young patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about pediatrics and enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic setting.

Requirements

  • CPR Certification.
  • Licensure/Certification within good standing.
  • Maintain required continuing education courses.

Responsibilities

  • Greets patient and escort them to the exam room.
  • Takes and records vital and patient medical information in chart.
  • Prepares patient room for exam.
  • Assist Provider in procedures as necessary.
  • Completes ordered lab procedures.
  • Administer IM, Sub Q injections to include immunizations.
  • Wound care and suture removal as directed by Provider.
  • Communicate results of all procedures and tests to Provider.
  • Discharge patient to receptionist.
  • Cleans and disinfects exam rooms after use.
  • Restock supplies, linens, equipment, and checks for defects and outdated.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and educational sessions are required.
  • Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinical activities, needs, and problems related to patient care
  • Complies with established patient care standards.
  • Maintains established clinical policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.
  • Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
