The Clinical Care Advocate (CCA) provides licensed clinical care advocacy support to Wounded, Ill, or Injured (WII) Marines and their families, working to identify and resolve deficiencies in clinical evaluations and treatment. CCAs help service members and their care teams overcome all barriers and gaps in clinical care in order to optimize medical outcomes. The CCA works in close collaboration with the WWR Surgeon and serves as the primary point of contact for referred Marines, ensuring they receive benefits and entitlements related to service- or combat-connected ailments and disability. Note: CCAs are not providing direct clinical care; malpractice insurance is not required. This Position is Contingent Upon Award.
