Clinical Care Advisor IDD (Program Consultant)
About The Position
The Clinical Care Advisor IDD (Program Consultant) is responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more external client facing programs within a business unit. Program consultants typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing projects or initiatives. This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
Requirements
- BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years experience in external client facing program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Nice To Haves
- Candidate should reside in North Carolina.
- Active RN, LCSW, LMHC, LPC or LMFT licensure for the state of North Carolina.
- Lived experiences with behavioral health programs.
- Experienced with North Carolina 1915 programs.
- Experienced working and supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a specific focus on Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the ongoing compliance and daily operations with external client facing programs.
- Help ensure programs meet their stated objectives.
- Provide support to a team of advisors in day-to-day operations.
- Research applicable subject matter practices and remain aware of industry trends.
- Coordinate training related to the external client facing program.
- Support program success measures and assist with data collection relating to program success.
