About The Position

Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking Clinical Associates for the School of Allied Health and School of Nursing at the Charlotte Campus. This role provides instructional support and supervision to students in various settings, including community hospitals, affiliates, and a state-of-the-art Simulation Education Center. Faculty, staff, and students are actively involved in the community and professional activities. This is not an online/remote position.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the assigned discipline and documented evidence of progress towards a baccalaureate degree.
• Licensed by the Florida Department of Health as a health professional in the related discipline.
• Recent clinical experience in the related discipline.
• Proficient in health information management and technology skills related to the discipline’s clinical setting.
• Commitment to professional development.
• Familiarity with clinical facility policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and supervision to students in various settings for the School of Allied Health and School of Nursing.
