Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in a clinical or sales setting in interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization lab, or surgery.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
  • Must have a technical aptitude; be able to discuss & explain complex technical product information.
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams.
  • Effective teaching skills with ability to translate complex instructions clearly.
  • Ability to work with precision, accuracy, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and recommend changes to training documents.
  • Ability to construct an effective training programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical work experience in Cardiology within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry (clinicals/sales) preferred.
  • RCIS, RT, RN, PA, CCP, RA, ARNP or similar clinical credentialing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform essential duties satisfactorily to support AngioDynamics CV-A products.
  • Educate current and potential customers on products and therapies.
  • Provide clinical education and technical support to customers.
  • Conduct case coverage, follow-up, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide customer service and education for CV-A products.
  • Support sales strategy by converting and growing business.
  • Assist the Sales team in growing sales and establishing market share within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned products, services, and competitive products and disease states.
  • Attend internal/external education meetings and read professional journals to enhance skills and clinical competency.
  • Provide clinical support and training for RFT-A products.
  • Stay current on the latest clinical data relating to all RFT-A products.
  • Educate the Sales Team on clinical data and new developments regarding RFT-A products, highlighting clinical benefits and patient safety.
  • Demonstrate clinical differences and patient outcomes between RFT-A products and competitive products.
  • Support regional sales strategy and work with the sales manager to execute business plans.
  • Build partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and high-volume Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to products and therapies through one-on-one sessions, in-service programs, seminars, and symposiums.
  • Engage in basic market development activities as needed.
  • Provide training, implementations, and support for new product launches to customers and internal teams.
  • Perform ongoing assessment of customer needs and problems through call reports, input from field specialists, and on-site training.
  • Document and provide written solutions to recurring problems, including input for training tools and provisions.
  • Identify and solve complex or unusual customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify the need for field protocols using CV-A products.
  • Facilitate knowledge capture and sharing within the area of expertise.
  • Manage compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
