About The Position

AngioDynamics is a leading provider of innovative medical devices dedicated to improving patient outcomes. We focus on developing disruptive technologies that address unmet patient needs and support healthcare providers globally. This role is crucial in supporting our CV-A products through customer education, technical support, case coverage, and troubleshooting. The Clinical Associate will work closely with the sales team to convert and grow business, establish market share, and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical professionals. The position involves educating physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical aspects of our products and therapies through various educational formats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • Clinical work experience in Cardiology within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry preferred (clinical, sales).
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in a clinical or sales setting in interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization lab or surgery preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
  • Must have technical aptitude; be able to discuss & explain complex technical product information.
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff, Sales, Marketing and other internal teams.
  • Effective teaching skills with ability to translate complex instructions clearly.
  • Ability to work with precision, accuracy, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and recommend changes to training documents.
  • Ability to construct an effective training program.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Nice To Haves

  • RCIS, RT, RN, PA, CCP, RA, ARNP or similar credentialing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge about assigned products and services as well as competitive products and disease states.
  • Attend internal/external education meetings and read professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency.
  • Provide clinical support and training for CV-A products.
  • Stay current on the latest clinical data relating to all CV-A products.
  • Educate the Sales Team on current clinical data and new developments regarding CV-A products, highlighting clinical benefits and patient safety.
  • Demonstrate clinical differences and patient outcomes between CV-A products and competitive products.
  • Support Regional sales strategy and work with the sales manager to execute business plans.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with KOLs and high-volume Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists in target accounts.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to products and therapies through one-on-one sessions, in-service programs, seminars, and/or outside symposiums.
  • Engage in basic market development activities depending upon the needs of the assigned geography.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Manage in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
