The wage range for this role is between $19.55-$22.22/hr. You have a permanent full-time position (32-40hrs/week) and we currently have one vacant position. Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English.
Comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
Interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
Looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
Flexible availability to work between Monday & Friday, from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant, physiotherapy assistant, optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, veterinary assistant, etc.).
Knowledge of EMR systems is an asset

Responsibilities

Assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
Answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.
Work closely with Optometrists.
Conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
Update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
Schedule and confirm post-operative appointments by telephone.
Support the organization’s Risk Management program by identifying and promptly reporting patient safety concerns, incidents, or potential risks to clinic management, to assist in the organization’s overall efforts to identify, report, and mitigate risks.
