About The Position
Clinical Assistants are responsible for tasks like coordinating patient appointments, preparing rooms/groups for therapy, cleaning toys, and other general office tasks. The role involves working with children in a sports and orthopedic physical therapy setting, focusing on personalized care for pediatric musculoskeletal injuries. The team works closely with Sports Medicine and Orthopedic physicians to ensure athletes return safely and quickly. The physical therapists specialize in treating children of all ages, using guideline-based care and family-centered approaches. The environment aims to be productive, interactive, and fun. Training for the role takes 4-6 weeks, and candidates are expected to stay for at least a year.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children
- Interest in the OT/PT field
- Must not be a "summer only" candidate
- Ability to stay in the job for at least a year before going to grad school or moving on to a promotional opportunity
