About The Position
OroMed, a subsidiary of Health Bridge LLC, is a mission-driven healthcare organization focused on improving dental care access. They connect patients at federally funded clinics with licensed dentists via live telehealth. The Clinical Assistant will serve as the on-site liaison between the patient and the remote dentist during live video exams, guiding the intraoral camera, welcoming patients, collecting medical history, and ensuring accurate and confidential documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical or Dental Assistant Certification
- Strong communication skills
- Current immunizations and TB screening
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with dental tools/terminology
- Current CPR or BLS card
- Healthcare or customer-facing experience
- 8-Hour Infection Control Certificate
- CA Dental Practice Act Certificate
- Fluency in another language is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site connection between the patient and a remote dentist during live video exams.
- Guide the intraoral camera so the dentist can see and evaluate in real time.
- Welcome patients, ease nerves, and make the virtual visit feel personal.
- Collect medical history and organize records for the dentist.
- Keep documentation accurate and confidential.
