Clinical Assistant Professor, Stanford Dermatology
About The Position
The Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking board-certified or board-eligible dermatologists to join the faculty as Clinical Assistant Professors in the Clinician Educator line. This is a full-time, non-tenure eligible academic appointment, offering the opportunity to provide outstanding dermatologic care with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring trainees and medical students. We are seeking candidates with an MD or MD/PhD who are interested in developing a clinical practice that aligns with departmental needs and individual expertise. The major criteria for appointment for Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administration and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology
- Strong clinical dermatologic skills
- Commitment to trainee education
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic medical center environment
