About The Position
The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is seeking a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This position involves one day per week of clinical coverage for pre-doctoral/resident students. The faculty rank and salary will be determined by experience and qualifications. Teaching and clinic assignments are at the chair's discretion. The School of Dental Medicine is a collaborative partner with UPMC, an academic medical center, and offers a robust infrastructure for clinicians and educators. Requirements
- DDS / DMD degree from an accredited school
- Dental license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- Significant clinical experience as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon
- Graduated from an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Must be board certified
Responsibilities
- Provide clinic coverage for pre-doctoral/resident students in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
- Teaching and clinic assignments will be at the chair’s discretion
