About The Position

The Department of Health Professions at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is seeking applicants for a 12-month teaching position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor with the start date of 1/7/2027. This is a renewable non-tenure track instructional position. Applications received prior to the first review date will receive full consideration, and the search will continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Under general supervision of the department chair, successful candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses (if applicable) and advising students. In addition to preparing for and holding classes, teaching involves maintaining currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment, evaluating students' work, assessing student outcomes, providing regular and substantive feedback on student work, maintaining appropriate records, and holding office hours. Other duties may be assigned by the chair or dean. The College of Science & Health (CSH) is the largest academic unit at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, bringing together diverse disciplines across the natural, physical, computational, and health sciences. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy
• ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist
• A minimum of 4 years clinical experience
• Required to earn a Master's Degree within 4 years of employment
• Excellent interpersonal/written communication skills
• Desire to be a lifelong learner through professional development and networking

Nice To Haves

• Previous teaching experience (clinical experience acceptable)
• Interest in involvement in Radiation Therapy organizations (ASRT, etc.)
• Ability to function independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues, peers, and clinical educators
• Demonstrate leadership, professional behavior, and self-directed learning with minimal supervision to achieve educational and clinical learning objectives
