About The Position

The University of Memphis College of Education, Department of Leadership, seeks a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor of Leadership and Policy Studies. The candidate will serve on dissertation committees and provide sustained mentorship as students progress through program milestones. The position also involves teaching graduate courses in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, including online courses in leadership theory, organizational and systems thinking, and action research. The candidate will mentor master’s and doctoral students; collaborate with faculty and educational partners; contribute to program development and assessment; and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession. The teaching load is three to four classes per semester, depending on departmental needs. The start date is August 16, 2027. The department is currently not offering sponsorship.
