About The Position

The Department of Psychology at Arizona State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor within the department’s Master’s program in Clinical Psychology (MSCP). The MSCP is an online program that integrates psychological science and practice to provide students with rigorous, research-based clinical training. This program prepares students to pursue state licensure and to provide masters-level mental health services as practitioners of psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate practicum for MSCP students, ensuring practicum experiences are developmentally appropriate, clinically rigorous, and compliant with American Psychological Association accreditation standards. They will serve as the primary point of contact for all practicum-related activities, ensure timely intervention when issues arise in training environments, teach the practicum course, provide supervision for local students in the Clinical Psychology Center, and participate in service to the department, university, and profession as appropriate.
