The Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM) is responsible for leading shift operations to ensure high-quality care, excellent customer experience, and efficient patient flow. In collaboration with other nursing leaders, the CANM oversees unit operations, including patient care assignments, customer experience, productivity, and quality outcomes for patients receiving active treatment in an acute care setting. The Neuroscience/Neurosurgical unit operates with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
