This role provides patient and room preparation support to clinicians, including patient preparation for appointments and care activities within the scope of practice. Responsibilities may include cleaning and maintaining equipment, ordering inventory, restocking supplies, performing procedures, collecting and analyzing data to inform clinical decisions, and ensuring work areas are organized and safe. The role also involves responding to and resolving inquiries from patient families. Administrative support for departmental operations, oversight of recurring events and employee matters, and assistance with special projects are also key functions. The role demands a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, supporting compliance efforts, monitoring safety policies, and ensuring timely fulfillment of certifications. Collaboration with department managers and sharing safety best practices are expected, along with adherence to CMS standards and communication of safety concerns.
