About The Position
This position is responsible for all clerical/receptionist duties and performing patient care activities. This will include personal and comfort needs of patients, assisting members of the health care team, responding to patient and family needs/request, and maintaining a clean, safe, cost effective environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an accredited nurse aid training program or two years experience in an acute or skilled care facility
- Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively/professionally with the medical center staff, patients, family, visitors, and physicians under routine and stressful situations
- Completion of a medical terminology course or demonstrated functional competency
- Computer data entry experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
