About The Position

At Riverwood Center we have a team of caring and committed professionals providing a wide array of personalized services to individuals with behavioral health, intellectual & developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. Riverwood Center is located in beautiful Southwest Michigan with staff at seven sites across Berrien County. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills
The ability to be punctual, organized and possesses the ability to work with a team and independently
Must have reliable means of transportation for community outings and transporting consumers and have a valid driver’s license and qualify as a safe driver per the policy of Riverwood Center.

Prefer experience working with adults or children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

Provides clerical support to the ACT Team
Central point of communication, coordinates schedules, answers phone and schedules appointments
Develops, edits, and creates documents using mail merge, spreadsheets, and database programs as necessary
Maintains, processes, and distributes all team specific reports
Assists consumers/staff in the community
