About The Position

Superlanet is seeking a Clinical Applications Trainer for our client in Texas. This role is responsible for developing and delivering training for clinical and non-clinical users across supported clinical applications, with a strong focus on Epic systems. This is a direct hire opportunity with 4 days onsite required. The Clinical Applications Trainer will support physicians, clinic staff, administrative teams, and other stakeholders through classroom, virtual, and hands-on training. Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Applications and Informatics, this role partners closely with clinical informaticists, application analysts, and operational leaders to improve application adoption, user proficiency, and clinical workflows.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Health Informatics, Education, Nursing, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical application training, healthcare informatics, EHR training, or healthcare IT.
  • Knowledge of healthcare information systems and clinical workflows.
  • Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate technical application functionality into clear, role-specific training.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Instructional Design, Nursing, Education, IT, or related field.
  • Experience with Epic or another enterprise EHR system.
  • Experience supporting ambulatory clinical workflows, providers, implementations, upgrades, or go-lives.
  • Epic Credentialed Trainer certification.
  • CPHIMS, PMP, Instructional Design, or Adult Learning certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training programs, user guides, e-learning content, and quick reference materials.
  • Deliver classroom, virtual, and elbow-to-elbow training for providers, clinical staff, and non-clinical users.
  • Provide application training for new hires, new clinics, system upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Develop deep knowledge of supported applications, workflows, and role-specific processes.
  • Support application assignments, user access, training requests, and proficiency tracking.
  • Coordinate training schedules, environments, attendance, documentation, and resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for curriculum and workflow improvement.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure training aligns with application functionality and organizational standards.
  • Support workflow optimization to improve provider efficiency, patient experience, and clinical quality.
  • Participate in application testing, implementations, go-lives, stabilization, and change management activities.
