This role involves gathering, analyzing, designing, developing, modifying, testing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining clinical information technologies to support clinical practice. The analyst will use data to support clinical decision-making and identify desired outcomes. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, and making recommendations for application workflow improvements, and creating and analyzing reports using multiple reporting mechanisms. The position requires a high level of customer service, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, excellent time management and prioritization, and proficiency in training presentation techniques. Proficient verbal and written communication skills and efficient use of Microsoft Office software are essential, along with a positive attitude and superior customer service skills. The analyst must gain proficiency in assigned Sanford applications and possess basic knowledge of other Sanford applications. A basic understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) philosophies is expected in daily work, along with adaptability to change, new assignments, processes, and people. Identifying and considering alternative approaches to situations or problems is also key. A willingness to maintain active knowledge in the area of specialty to stay current with clinical practice and end-user perspectives is required.
