The Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining an initial and ongoing relationship between Lunit International and its customers. The role includes application software instruction, workflow process improvement, assistance with personalizing the breast health journey and increasing early cancer detection rates of women. This position will work closely with members of the onboarding and retention teams to provide appropriate, timely services to the customer.

Requirements

  • AA or BA in breast imaging healthcare related field, strongly recommended. May substitute breast imaging experience for education; ARRT or ARDMS preferred.
  • Adult training experience, especially with software; breast imaging experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with medical professionals; ability to communicate effectively with clinical and technology personnel.
  • Ability to write clear, accurate, and effective reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and to respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and with groups, professional demeanor.
  • General understanding of database concepts and fluency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Follow Quality Management System practices and company policy guidelines.
  • Candidates must currently have the right to work in the United States to apply.
  • Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required, except in limited circumstances where a legally recognized medical or religious exemption may be able to be accommodated.

  • Technical support background, a plus.
  • Some travel required, proximity to a major airport preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in needs analysis to determine training needs within the customer’s organization.
  • Confers with customer to gain workflow knowledge and desired system operation to optimize the software and train people in the proper operation.
  • Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods that will best suit the particular customer environment; such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations and workshops, etc.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
  • Conducts software application configuration training.
  • Conducts software use training, maximizing user efficiency while increasing proficiency.
  • Documents training results to record critical notes, customer feedback, and identified successes.
  • Participates in the maintenance and currency of customer training tools and collaborates on the development and execution of training and marketing materials.
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks to maximize customer efficiency using the products. This would include product settings, staff, machines, maps, licensing, reports, lists, clinicians, interfaces, etc.
  • Assist staff in preparing for regulatory reviews including MQSA audits, ACR, etc.
  • Provide feedback to appropriate Lunit International staff on items that could be considered to increase customer confidence and acceptance, including improvements to training materials.
  • Connect the customer to others in Lunit International that might provide services; User groups, webinars, upcoming events and trainings, additional products, etc.
  • Trains internal Lunit staff on products and user workflows.
  • Assists in Use Case testing, as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
