About The Position

As a Clinical Applications Specialist (Trainer), you are responsible for delivering high-quality clinical training and education to customers during and after system installation. You enable customers to effectively adopt and optimize the use of our neurodiagnostic solutions, contributing directly to improved clinical workflows, user confidence, and patient outcomes. This role requires extensive travel and close collaboration with Service, Sales, and Technical teams.

Requirements

  • Clinical registration and certification in EEG, Polysomnography, or EMG/NCV is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline preferred; equivalent combination of education, certification, and directly relevant clinical experience will be considered.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required
  • Must reside within assigned territory, near a major airport
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements for onsite support, including all needed immunizations, verification of past immunizations, TB screening, drug testing, flu shots, etc as defined by the individual healthcare system.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical, clinical, and business documentation
  • Able to communicate clearly through reports, training sessions, and customer interactions
  • Able to solve practical problems in varied and evolving situations

Nice To Haves

  • Registry in Evoked Potentials or certified in Intraoperative Monitoring a plus but not required
  • Teaching experience is strongly recommended, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver onsite and remote clinical training for new installations, upgrades, and ongoing customer education
  • Provide structured follow-up training to ensure effective adoption post-installation
  • Adapt training approach to different user groups and clinical environments
  • Act as clinical liaison between customers and the Technical Service team
  • Proactively identify, address, and escalate customer issues and needs as appropriate
  • Plan and perform smaller neurodiagnostic system installations in line with company standards and customer requirements
  • Provide pre-sale clinical education and product demonstrations to prospective customers as required
  • Complete all required administrative tasks and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
  • Use only approved documentation in line with company guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of clinical expertise and keep all required certifications current through continuing education
  • Participate in product and internal training to stay current with software and hardware developments
  • Support the development and ongoing improvement of training materials
