About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody values of excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join our Primary Care leadership team in the role of Clinical Ambulatory Manager. This role combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. The manager is accountable for translating and achieving strategic priorities and outcomes, including quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. This role is also accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for the assigned unit, leading an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. Furthermore, the role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidence-based practices and professional nursing standards. This specific opportunity is with our Fishers Primary Care team and is a fully onsite, Monday through Friday day-shift role. The manager will support a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice comprised of physicians, APPs, a PharmD, and a strong team of clinical and administrative professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN). If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Previous healthcare leadership experience preferred.
  • Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
  • Preference for prior outpatient leadership experience and primary care experience.
