The Clinical Administrative Coordinator manages the total coordination and processing of all patient referrals, DME, and monitors for consultant reports for patients. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM Location: Onsite - 140 N Westmonte Dr, Ste 1000 Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience processing referrals and prior authorizations
  • Intermediate level of experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within the healthcare Industry and with healthcare insurance
  • Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
  • A clerical or administrative support background
  • Experience working in a call center
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes

Responsibilities

  • Managing administrative intake of members
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
  • Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers
  • Follow up with patients
  • Answer phones
  • Assisting with metrics
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
