This position is required to ensure compliance with UnitedHealthcare’s contract with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator Senior, you will provide administrative and operational support related to Long-term Care (LTC) members’ placement changes, Level of Care (LOC) annual redetermination and Medicaid Eligibility in compliance with the contract and its amendments. Schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours to 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Standard time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. If you reside in the state of Florida, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure member address changes and transitions are processed and submitted to the State upon receipt within contractual time frames Ensure annual LOC redeterminations are submitted to the State (Department of Elder Affairs-CARES) upon receipt within contractual Timeframes Process incoming mail from the Department of Children & Families related to Member Medicaid Eligibility Notification to Case Management staff of Member Medicaid Redetermination due date Provide support to Case Management staff within assigned areas of responsibility Documentation of activities in ICUE Training staff on State contract requirements and UnitedHealthcare processes Special projects What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Intermediate level of experience with computer efficiency and MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Intermediate level of experience working with office equipment (FAX, Scanner, Printers, or Copiers)
  • Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with health care insurance
  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services
  • Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment
  • ICUE and Community Care experience
  • Microsoft SharePoint knowledge

Responsibilities
