The position performs standard administrative functions such as screening telephone calls, opening mail, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, setting up office filing systems, and coordinating meetings. The Clinical Administrative Assistant provides a broad range of secretarial and administrative support, may handle confidential information, and is responsible for maintaining official department filing systems, records management, and databases. This role involves preparing memos, correspondence, agendas, minutes, and policy explanations, as well as collecting, compiling, and analyzing information. Additionally, the position assists with department reporting requirements, form completion, budget assembly, tracking budget expenses and variances, and paying/tracking invoices. It also includes organizing travel arrangements, completing expense reports, and interfacing with various levels of management and external customers. The role may serve as a point of contact for departments like IT, HR, and facilities, and assist with various projects as assigned by the supervisor. Additional responsibilities may focus on specific departments or locations.
