SandyPines Residential Treatment Center is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson State Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. SandyPines is at the county line of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. We are pleased to announce the Mental HealthTechnician position at Sandy Pines. The Clinical Administrative Assistant supports the Social Services Department. Works closely and in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Clinical Services, and/or the Lead Therapist in ensuring the Social Services department operates efficiently and smoothly. Demonstrates service excellence in all interactions within the organization as well as with outside parties.

Requirements

  • Bacherlor's Degree
  • 1-3 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops the departmental standard monthly treatment team meeting schedules. Disseminate those schedules to all interested parties (both internally and externally) at least 2 weeks in advance of the meeting.
  • Prints the monthly CABA-I and/or CABA-Y that coincide with the monthly treatment plan reviews and provides to the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) and/or to the therapists.
  • Responsible for sending all reports (master treatment plan, treatment plan review, etc.) to the legal guardian in a timely manner to obtain their signatures. Tracks receipt of all signature pages and once received, submits the reports for filing.
  • Disseminates clinical reports to all interested parties, following the approved contact list and/or service profiles.
  • Responds to requests for information, records, etc. from parent/guardian/collateral contacts and/or as directed by the Clinical Director or Director of UR and CM in a timely manner.
  • May assist the Patient Advocate with investigations into parent/guardian/resident grievances.
  • Enters all parent/guardian/resident grievances into the Midas tracking system upon receipt from the Patient Advocate.
  • Gathers requested documentation and provides the documentation to the assessor for suitability assessments in a timely manner. May coordinate the virtual meeting between the child and suitability assessor. May occasionally need to facilitate a virtual court hearing with the child.
  • Monitors printer supplies, orders supplies as necessary; works with IT department to address any concerns with printers and/or computers.
