About The Position

My Best Homecare (MBHC) is a Joint Commission-accredited provider of home respiratory medical equipment headquartered in San Jose, California. Since 2005, we have specialized in providing advanced respiratory care to medically complex adult and pediatric patients throughout California. MBHC is seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-focused Clinical Account Executive to develop and strengthen referral relationships throughout our service areas. This field-based position serves as the primary clinical liaison between MBHC and physicians, hospitals, case managers, rehabilitation facilities, specialty clinics, and other referral sources. The successful candidate will educate healthcare professionals about MBHC's specialized respiratory services while developing long-term referral relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and exceptional patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is clinically knowledgeable, highly professional, self-motivated, and passionate about improving the lives of medically complex respiratory patients.

Requirements

  • Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (RRT or CRT).
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of successful healthcare sales or clinical marketing experience in respiratory DME, home health, hospital services, or a related healthcare field.

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, hospital executives, clinicians, patients, and caregivers.
  • Possess a valid California driver's license.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with MBHC's automobile insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review annually.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all Company vehicle safety policies and applicable traffic laws.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including verification of work authorization, employment and professional references, education verification, and any background screening conducted only after a conditional offer of employment and in accordance with applicable California law.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home respiratory DME.
  • Experience with home mechanical ventilation.
  • Experience serving COPD, ALS or neuromuscular disease patient populations.
  • Existing professional relationships with Bay Area physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, or specialty clinics.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, California Children's Services (CCS), and commercial insurance coverage for respiratory DME.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage referral relationships and sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, respiratory departments, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs), home health agencies, and specialty clinics throughout the assigned territory.
  • Educate referral sources regarding MBHC's advanced respiratory services, including home ventilation, tracheostomy care, airway clearance therapy, oxygen therapy, and complex respiratory disease management.
  • Promote MBHC's clinical expertise and patient-centered approach to hospital discharge planning and continuity of care.
  • Identify new referral opportunities while strengthening existing referral relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with intake, respiratory therapists, operations, and billing teams to ensure smooth hospital-to-home transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of referral activities using the Company's CRM system.
  • Represent MBHC at hospital meetings, educational programs, professional conferences, community events, and industry functions.
  • Maintain regular communication with management regarding referral activity, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business development opportunities.
  • Conduct all business activities ethically and in compliance with applicable federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA and anti-kickback regulations.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
