About The Position

The Clinic X-Ray Technologist performs activities of the Radiology Technologist at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail, and assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as directed by the Practice Manager. This role is responsible for performing X-ray procedures and ensuring patient care. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records. The technologist must be able to work with patients of all ages and demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment.

Requirements

Graduate from a two (2) year approved School of X-Ray Technology.
Must be currently registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
Licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health required.
Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
Must maintain a minimum of 24 ECE points in each two (2) year period as required by the ARRT in Radiology.
Proficient knowledge and ability to use a computer (must be keyboard proficient) and other office technology (i.e., telephone, fax, etc.), MS Outlook and Word.
Must be able to demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment and apply appropriate professional skills to a patient population of all ages.

College work desired, but not required.
Prior experience is desired but not required.
