About The Position

The Clinic Support Specialist is responsible for providing special testing for physicians as ordered. This role involves performing visual field tests using OCT and fundus scanner, ordering and maintaining supplies for testing equipment, and coordinating regular maintenance of HVT/OCT equipment. The specialist will instruct patients on testing procedures, including potential risks and benefits, and provide test results to physicians in a timely manner. Maintaining a clean work area, training new employees on equipment, and adhering to all HIPPA and safety policies are also key responsibilities.   • Manual dexterity for operating complicated equipment.
  • Must be able to utilize office equipment such as desktop/laptop computers, copiers, printers, scanners, telephones, and calculators.
