Clinic Supervisor - Overlake OB-GYN
About The Position
Supervise day to day operations of Overlake Medical Clinics (OMC) services at our Overlake OB-GYN Clinic. Responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining and supervising staff’s assigned work areas and directing the work flow of patient care. Implements and executes overall goals set in the department in conjunction with the Clinic Manager/Director. Provides strong leadership, good communication skills and collaborates with other members of the health care team to determine priorities of care. In collaboration with the Clinic Manager, assist with the management of OMC services, such that the delivery of high-quality patient care is assured and designated budgetary parameters are maintained. Full understanding of ambulatory physician office practice required. Knowledge of billing and coding highly desired. Excellent interpersonal/people skills; Good verbal/written communication skills; Marketing/financial skills a plus. Salaried - Exempt Clinic Hours
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Full understanding of ambulatory physician office practice required.
- Knowledge of and experience with automated systems required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
- Strong organization skills required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- High-stress climate requires the ability to conduct several projects simultaneously and maintain stability in the department.
- Must provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization before first day of employment.
Nice To Haves
- BA preferred.
- Certification in a professional association preferred.
- If applicable, must maintain licensure as appropriate to profession.
- Two years of lead or supervisory experience in a similar position within a hospital, clinic, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of billing and coding highly desired.
- Marketing/financial skills a plus.
