About The Position
The Clinical Supervisor at the Children’s Counseling Center develops a highly effective clinical team by supporting direct service staff in providing high-quality care while ensuring legal and ethical standards are met. The Center is funded through the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health to provide community-based mental health services to children, youth, and families. Services are delivered in clinic and field settings and include individual and family therapy, rehabilitation, case management, and medication management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited college.
- Licensed with the Board of California and in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience as an LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Completion of requirements to supervise registered clinicians and/or interns.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish to fulfill the linguistic needs of the target population.
- Knowledge of computer operation, including word processing and spreadsheet capability.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or training in evidence-based practices, including TF-CBT, AF-CBT, IPT, or Ind CBT.
- Two years of experience supervising Mental Health Registered Associates.
- Understanding of process improvement and quality metrics.
