About The Position

The RN/LPN/MA provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practice in a confidential manner. Assists the physician with procedures within the clinic, ensuring quality, efficient, caring, and professional care and treatment of the patients. Performs overall RN/LPN/MA care, including triage for drop-in and telephoning patients, immunization administration and oversight. The RN/LPN/MA provides direct nursing care for individual patients with well-defined nursing diagnoses. The RN/LPN/MA communicates with and on behalf of the patient and coordinates patient care with all health team members. The RN/LPN/MA organizes those aspects of nursing care for which s/he is accountable in a specified work period. Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as an RN LPN/MA in the state of South Dakota.
  • Experience working as an RN/LPN/MA in a clinic setting.
  • CPR certified.
  • Consistently requires a high degree of social sensitivity and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare personnel within and outside the agency.

Nice To Haves

  • Following a formal orientation, proficiency in the assigned clinical area is expected within six months.
