About The Position

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a highly organized and motivated Clinic RN to join our Community Cardiology Care team. This role supports multiple providers within the team, with a strong focus on phone support. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, collaborative, and ready to jump in to provide excellent service to our patients. Schedule: • Monday – Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Option for hybrid schedule. Work from home 2 days a week. Requirements

Minimum of 16 years of age required.
Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal/external customers is required.
Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinical staff and patients in an efficient, confidential manner required.
Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills required.
Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment required.
Effective communication skills required.
Associate's in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) department dependent required.

Nice To Haves

EPIC experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel preferred.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.
Based on position, prior experience in patient nursing, specialty/primary care clinic and/or telephonics preferred.
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred.
Proficient with use of email applications preferred.
Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical records preferred.
Specific to the Medical Call Center department; multi-state license preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact via phone for clinical calls to include medication refills.
Evaluate patient symptoms and needs determining the urgency of their conditions, recommending appropriate care levels.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care, including emergency situations.
Maintain accurate healthcare records of patient interactions and follow-ups, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with health regulations.
Provides administrative support for documents (fmla, work comp, disability, etc).
