About The Position

This role is for a Clinic RN in a Specialty Clinic, specifically focusing on Cardiology at Ascension Saint Thomas Heart Clarksville. The position is full-time, working day shifts. The RN will be responsible for bringing patient care plans to life by implementing, monitoring, and evolving them to meet unique patient needs. They will act as a vigilant communicator, monitoring conditions and relaying vital updates to the team in real-time. The role requires precision in interpreting and carrying out physician and nursing orders to ensure clinical accuracy. Additionally, the RN will lead the discharge planning process from the beginning, collaborating with the care team to ensure patients have what they need for a safe transition home.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
