About The Position

Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Clinic Nurse (RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant) to join their dedicated clinic team. This role involves supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring a positive patient experience in a friendly, rural healthcare setting. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant program.
Current South Dakota RN/LPN license or successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Clinic experience preferred but not required.
CPR certification preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, professional patient care.
Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.
Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Educate patients and communicate provider instructions.
Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and consulting physician visits.
Perform specimen collections, including venipuncture and other diagnostic testing.
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Maintain nursing supplies, medications, and exam room readiness.
Support efficient patient flow and positive patient experiences.
