About The Position

The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within a fast-paced ambulatory infusion and clinic setting. This role collaborates closely with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and patients to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate safe and effective care while supporting exceptional patient outcomes and experiences. The Infusion RN is responsible for administering infusion therapies, medications, injections, IV treatments, and other clinical interventions while demonstrating strong knowledge of infusion medications, vascular access devices, drug administration, safe handling practices, and patient monitoring. This position also provides patient education, triage, disease management, care coordination, and clinical support for in-office procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed, and able to think critically in a dynamic clinical environment. Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking skills are essential to support clinic flow, respond to patient needs, and coordinate care across the healthcare continuum. Responsibilities also include documentation within the electronic health record, managing patient communications, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care. This position may float to other Medical Group departments as needed to support patient care operations. Candidates must possess a current RN license and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, patient advocacy, and continuous professional growth.

Requirements

  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • Graduate of accredited professional school of nursing
  • Sufficient care experience to demonstrate ability as an Ambulatory Staff RN (job specific)
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Maturity in judgment
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to recognize and assist where help is needed
  • Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or patients
  • Ability to conduct self professionally, including but not limited to: interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred
  • Certification in Nurse Infusion preferred
